How It Works
Computes percentile effective advisory fees (median, P25/P75, P10/P90) at 1M, 5M and 10M AUM portfolio sizes from fee schedules extracted out of SEC Form ADV Part 2A brochures. A firm contributes to a percentile only if its effective fee is comparable — present, not negotiable, and not a disclosed-range structure; non-comparable firms are reported under coverage rather than silently dropped. Scope defaults to national (the largest comparable population); regional (state/metro + AUM band) and single-firm (by CRD, vs ½×–2× same-state AUM peers) scopes are available. Where the comparable population in a scope falls below the credibility threshold, the tool shows an explicit insufficient-data state instead of a percentile.
